Mother’s Day is just a few weeks away. Don’t wait until the last minute this year or you’ll be stuck giving the special women in your life the same old flowers or candy in a cheesy mug option and we both know they all deserve better than that! This year, give your mother or mothering person in your life a gift that lasts. Here is our Mother’s Day gift guide with a few of our favorite legacy gifts:

1. Photo Print on Canvas

Take that special family photo and have it printed on a canvas (or even wood or metal!). There are a number of great mail order companies that can do this for you. Check out Shutterfly, Snapfish, Costco, or Mpix. There a few online canvas printing companies worth checking out too: CanvasPop, iCanvas, or CanvasChamp.

2. Custom Coordinate Jewelry

From bracelets to necklaces, rings or other accessories, putting a special coordinate on a piece of jewelry is a different way for your mom to remember her wedding, favorite vacation or first home memories. Some pieces are even engraveable on both sides! Check out Lat & Lo, Centime or a number of options on Etsy.

3. Family Tree Print

A Family tree print is a great way to add a personalized piece of artwork to her home. There are a multitude of different design options available on Etsy. You can also order one from PersonalCreations or Minted.

4. Water Bottle / Coffee Cup

There are many options for creating a personalized water bottle or coffee cup. Give your mother an eco-friendly option that will make her smile every time she uses it. SpecialtyCreations4U and mypreciouspaper are two Etsy companies that will put your photo(s) on a water bottle, coffee cup, tumbler, or wine cup. Or check out Snapfish, or Shutterfly as well.

5. Life & Times Annuary

The Life & Times Annuary is a unique and legacy-worthy gift for that special person you call mom. It’s a 2-page per-year format for recording the highlights and lowlights of your years. With an inclusive family tree section for both blood relatives and claimed family members and a number of pages of inspiration and guidance to help her along the way, you can’t go wrong with this option!
